Use our compost calculator to determine how much product you would need for any project.
Trees and Shrubs: Blend compost with the excavated dirt from where tree/shrub will be planted. Back fill and blend the soil mixture around root ball. Water thoroughly
Vegetables and Flowers: Uniformly apply 1-2 inches over area and till in to 6-8 inches depth then rake smooth before planting. Water thoroughly. Apply over established garden bed to conserve water and suppress weeds.
Lawn: Annual topdressing in early spring and fall to provide nutrients, reduce compaction, and improve water retention. For seeding, planting, and sodding: Uniformly apply 1-2 inches over area and till in to 6-8 inches depth then rake smooth before planting.
Indoor Plants: Improve health and promote growth in indoor and potted porch plants by incorporating into potting mix. Apply .5-1 inch to top for seasonal nutrition
Mulching/Other: Cover topsoil in garden and landscaping beds with 1-2 inches for nutrients, weed suppression, and water retention.
